Why is an "Ordinary Dream"?
Recently, Thuy Nguyen's Ordinary Dream exhibition attracted public attention. The during-9-year collections were renewed by the designer to place them in the space of intersection between Vietnamese traditional culture and Western spirit. "During the time of the Covid-19 spread, I wonder what everyone's wishes, is it ordinary or normal things which are settling, and peaceful in a place unaffected by things around?". Throughout many years in her profession, Thuy Nguyen doesn't flaunt herself. No matter how successful or praised by others, she still balances herself in peace with ordinary things. Because the designer contemplates that it finds hard to achieve peaceful things in life.

60 designs in the Thuy Design House collections from 2011-2020 and many antiques, accessories, as well as works of art inspire the creation of designer Thuy Nguyen.
"Mong Binh Thuong" was inspired by the famous song "Ngam Ngui"(Compassion) by musician Pham Duy. Through meticulously designed and arranged rooms, viewers will explore some aspects of Thuy Design House to see the rich variety of collections as well as the designs' sources of inspiration.

"What I want most is that people look at fashion in a different way, not just talking about clothes but an appreciation for art on display in the museum," Mong Binh Thuong" helps the public to be closer, feel and experience emotions in each collection, not with flash watching on the runway.", said designer Thuy Nguyen.
The 7 main themes of the exhibition "Mong Binh Thuong" are also inspired by poetry, proverbial singing and life of Vietnamese people: The day after, The floor of the purple lipstick, The sun and moon, Full memory, Living in the world, All shapes and sizes, Streets of wards.
