The Dignity Kits will be distributed to women at high risk of Gender-Based Violence (GBV) in humanitarian context, particularly in COVID-19 pandemic, through national and sub-national levels.

Vietnam has come second within ASEAN, and ranking 77 out of 158 countries on the Commitment to Reducing Inequality Index (CRII) index this year.

On May 20, Hagar International in Vietnam in collaboration with Nghe An Women’s Union has organized the launching conference of “Building capacity of duty bearers and beneficiaries to improve access to services for women and children survivors of intimate partner violence and non-partner sexual violence and change community’s attitude and behavior towards violence against women” project.

The “Anh Duong” (Sunshine) House Shelter for provision of supporting essential services to victims of violence against women and girls was jointly launched o April 29 for the first time in Quang Ninh province, by the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in partnership with the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA).
